Sponsorship

Texas Visual Arts Association is a non-profit organization operated for the encouragement and enrichment of visual artists in all media. The primary goal of TVAA is to provide a venue for the education and exhibitions of professional artists as well as to provide an opportunity for artists of diverse backgrounds to promote public awareness, involvement and support from the community.

With a 60-year history in Dallas, TVAA has been fortunate to have many sponsors for its programs. Donations from our past sponsors have included merchandise, gift certificates from local businesses, and generous cash donations, which have been used as awards for its major exhibitions. These donations have primarily been used for the four major art exhibitions each year – the High School Exhibition each spring, the Membership Exhibition in May, the National Exhibition held every other year in the summer, and the Citation Exhibition in the fall.

The Texas Visual Arts Association has in the past received major grants from Atlantic Richfield Foundation, Bank of America Texas, City of Dallas Office of Cultural Affairs, the 500 Inc., Dallas Arts District Foundation, First American Financial and Real Estate, Howard Rachofsky Foundation, Southwestern Bell Foundation, Mr. C. M. Netherland, Mr. & Mrs. Jake Hamon, Mr. & Mrs. Robert Hoffman, Mr. & Mrs. John Rauscher, among others.

Many corporations in Dallas have provided beautiful sites for exhibitions of TVAA. These include NorthPark Center, Art Cenre of Plano, 14th Street Gallery of Plano, Trammell Crow Center, the Dallas Public Library, First National Bank, Texas Commerce Bank, City Place, Crescent Court. Dallas City Hall, Medical City Hospital, and the Plaza of the Americas, who have provided space for the TVAA Downtown Gallery serving the artists of Dallas.

As a non-profit charitable organization, the Texas Visual Arts Association depends upon donations from corporations and individuals in the community to help sponsor its many exhibitions and programs. Call us today to discuss your interest in support Dallas area art through TVAA.
