What is beautiful? Beauty is defined as a characteristic of a person, animal, place, object, or idea that provides perceptual experiences of pleasure to the senses or pleasurably exalts the mind or spirit. It has been said that “beauty is in the eye of the beholder.” The perception of beauty is highly subjective and specific to each perceiver. For this show, artists are invited to submit work that reflects their perception of what is beautiful. All media is encouraged.
Please submit up to three entries (jpgs at 72 dpi and no longer than 1000 pixels on longest side) to Curator Marilee Vergati-Haynes by August 25th.
