Red! (Feb)

February 3-28, 2014
Reception February 9, 2-4 pm

RED! – a color of many shades associated with a myriad of conflicting emotions. Red is the color of love and hate, passion and anger, joy and danger, celebration and war. Red is also associated with deception (“to see a red flag”); courage (“the red badge of courage”); bureaucracy (“red tape”); wrongdoing (“with blood on one’s hands”); embarrassment (“to be red faced”); fun (“paint the town red”); and more. The primary interest in the piece should be some aspect of red.
